HBO has picked up the comedy series Veep, starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus, to series, the cable network confirmed Saturday.

The former Seinfeld alum will play former Sen. Selina Meyer, whose image of being vice president is shattered once she lands in office.
The comedy, which was written by Armando Iannucci -- who also serves as director and executive producer -- is set in Washington, D.C., co-stars Anna Chlumsky (Lights Out) and Tony Hale (Arrested Development).
Chris Godsick and New York Magazine’s Frank Rich also will executive produce the series, which serves as Louis-Dreyfus’ return to series television following her Emmy-winning turn in CBS’ The New Adventures of Old Christine.

Я даже и не знал что она была Элейн в Сайнфелде когда смотрел Arrested Development! Собственно и про то что Барри Цукерхорн это Фонз из Happy Days тоже узнал через черт знает сколько, а на этом столько меташуток было построено.

А еще она оказывается в 30 Rock каким-то образом дублирует Тину Фэй, my body is not ready.
